Excel Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Excel-based automation solutions to streamline business processes.
• Create and maintain a centralised master file that houses all parameters and data references used across various Excel files.
• Utilise advanced Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, and VBA/macros to enhance data processing efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of the master file with multiple Excel workbooks.
• Design and manage dynamic dashboards, reports, and templates for data analysis and visualisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any Excel-related issues, including data inconsistencies and formula errors.
• Optimise existing Excel models and workflows for improved accuracy and performance.
• Provide documentation and training for team members on using the master file and automation tools.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements and customise Excel solutions accordingly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Excel automation and data management.
• Proficiency in VBA/macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel functions, formulas, and conditional formatting.
• Experience in handling large datasets and improving processing efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
• Background in financial modelling, data analytics, or business intelligence.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data automation.
