Job Description

Summit Recruitment & Search was established in to address the recruitment, mass recruitment, executive search, outsourcing and training needs of companies based in Kenya or wanting to enter the Kenyan, East African, South African and African market.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ energy use, including analysing processes, equipment, and building systems. Develop detailed Energy Saving Opportunity Reports (ESOR), identifying potential savings in areas such as low-hanging fruit, process and asset optimisation, and technological upgrades. Provide strategic recommendations to clients, outlining cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency. Collaborate with clients to prioritise and implement recommended actions, ensuring alignment with their operational goals and sustainability objectives. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in energy management and apply this knowledge to enhance the value of recommendations. Present findings and strategies to clients, clearly communicating the benefits and potential impact of proposed changes. Monitor the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and measure their effectiveness, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Must have at least 4 years of experience in energy management, with a strong track record of identifying and implementing energy-saving measures. A professional certification in energy management (e.g., CEM, CMVP) is a plus. In-depth knowledge of energy systems, technologies, and efficiency strategies. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex data and provide actionable insights. Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in the use of energy management software and tools. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
