English Teacher-CIRO PRIMARY/SEC SCHOOL

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum

• Assess, record, and report on students’ academic performance and progress

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills

• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning

• Maintain discipline and uphold school policies and standards

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance learning outcomes

• Participate in extracurricular and school development activities where required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (English) or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in a recognized institution

• Valid TSC Certification (or equivalent teaching certification) •

Strong understanding of education systems and regulatory frameworks

• Experience teaching in diverse or international environments is an added advantage

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to engage and motivate students

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to handle additional subjects is an added advantage
