Job Description/Requirements
Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
o Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans aligned with ECD standards.
o Create engaging activities and lesson plans to stimulate children's learning.
o Incorporate play-based learning and hands-on experiences.
Child Observation and Assessment:
o Observe and assess children's individual needs and progress.
o Document children's development through observation notes, portfolios, and assessments.
o Identify areas where additional support or intervention may be required.
Nurturing and Care:
o Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.
o Ensure children's physical needs are met (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, rest).
o Foster positive social interactions among children.
Parent Engagement:
o Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development.
o Encourage parental involvement in their child's education.
o Organize parent-teacher conferences and workshops.
Professional Development:
o Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on
ECD best practices.
o Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
o Explore opportunities for further education and certification.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
- Experience working with young children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for child development
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- CBC training
- Must have TSC number

Salary is 20-25k
