Job summary: To drive membership growth and increase uptake of SACCO products and services by actively sourcing new members, mobilizing deposits, and promoting loan products in line with the SACCO’s strategic objectives.
a) Identify and recruit new SACCO members through field visits, corporate engagements, and community outreach.
b) Market and cross-sell SACCO products.
c) Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective members.
d) Identify and facilitating onboarding of new payrolls and optimizing gaps in existing payrolls.
e) Mobilize member deposits and promote a savings culture.
f) Meet and exceed assigned sales targets (membership, deposits, loan uptake).
g) Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and potential clients.
h) Provide excellent customer service and respond to member inquiries.
i) Conduct follow-ups to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
j) Gather and report market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
k) Recommend improvements to products and services based on market needs.
l) Ensure all member onboarding documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
m) Adhere to SACCO policies, procedures, and guidelines.
n) Support KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML compliance processes.
o) Prepare and submit periodical performance report on assigned targets to the line supervisor.
