Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote our company's products and services. This role plays a major part in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, driving website traffic, and acquiring leads/customers.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies: Plan and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that align with business goals.

• Manage social media platforms: Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media channels.

• SEO and SEM: Optimize website content for search engines and manage paid search campaigns to improve visibility and traffic drive.

• Email marketing: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective segmentation and personalization to maximize engagement.

• Content creation: Collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to create engaging content that aligns with marketing objectives.

• Analytics and reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.

• Budget management: Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).

• Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to stay competitive in the market.

• Managing and liaising with customers for updating projects

In-House Responsibilities (Skillmind’s Own Marketing)

Strategic Planning & Business Development

• Develop Skillmind’s annual marketing strategy, including goals, budgets, and KPIs.  

• Identify new market opportunities and verticals to expand Skillmind’s service offerings.  

• Lead go-to-market strategies for new products/services and partnerships.  


Brand Management

• Maintain brand consistency across all channels (digital, print, events).  

• Position SkillMind as a thought leader through content marketing, whitepapers, and webinars.  

• Manage PR, media relations, and crisis communications.  


Campaign Execution

• Oversee omnichannel campaigns (SEO/SEM, social media, email, events) to generate leads and brand awareness.  

• Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to align campaigns with business goals.  


Team Leadership

• Manage internal marketing teams (content, design, digital, analytics).  

• Foster skill development through training and mentorship programs.  


Budget & Resource Allocation

• Optimize ROI by allocating budgets to high-impact channels.  

• Negotiate contracts with vendors (agencies, tools, platforms).  


Analytics & Reporting

• Track KPIs (lead gen, conversion rates, CAC, LTV) using tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems.  

• Present performance reports to the executive team and adjust strategies as needed. 


Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to legal/regulatory standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).  

• Mitigate risks related to data privacy and brand reputation.
