About the Company
Our client is a leading deposit-taking Sacco, licensed by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA), offering a wide range of loan and savings products. The Sacco is registered under the Co-operative Societies Act Cap 491 and is committed to delivering top-notch services to its members. They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join their team on a three-year renewable contract, contingent on satisfactory performance.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Membership Growth & Product Expansion:
Identify and execute campaigns to drive membership growth, expand the loan portfolio, mobilize deposits, and increase patronage of FOSA services. - Marketing Budget Management:
Prepare, plan, and execute annual marketing budgets, while managing procurement plans and functional requirements. - New Product Development & Launch:
Oversee product development, re-engineering, and strategic product launches. - Market Research & Pricing Strategy:
Conduct market research, analyze customer trends, competition, and product data to inform pricing strategy for maximum business opportunity. - Customer Feedback Analysis:
Gather and analyze feedback to identify gaps in products and services. - Digital Marketing:
Design and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and PPC campaigns. - Campaign Analysis & Reporting:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and prepare reports for analysis. - Business Development Strategy Deployment:
Implement the Sacco's business development strategy and monitor its success. - Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify prospective clients, new markets, and business opportunities. - Policy Implementation:
Review business development policies, procedures, and reporting systems to improve growth and profitability. - Public Events & Corporate Branding:
Represent the Sacco in exhibitions, field days, and other public events to promote its brand. - Sales & Target Achievement:
Lead the direct sales and business development teams to achieve growth and sales targets. - Member Relationship Building:
Foster long-lasting relationships with members by understanding and addressing their needs. - Training & Development:
Organize and deliver member training sessions based on identified needs and prepare relevant presentation materials. - Committee Representation:
Represent the Business Development Department in the Education, Strategy, Business Development, and ICT Committee.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development within a financial institution.
- Additional certifications or degrees relevant to the role are an added advantage.
