This is a Senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing and managing Sales & 

Marketing strategies and overall performance of a business. 

 

Qualification:

 

·  Experience: Typically 10+ years in Sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

·  Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (an MBA or relevant advanced degree may be preferred).

·  Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop the sales team·

-  Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.

·  Industry : Preferably from media, telecommunications, FMCG etc,

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

Create and implement the overall strategy to align with the company’s business goals and objectives. 

Develop strategies for customer acquisition and customer retention.

Set comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve set targets.

High level of understanding of the market-market trends, competitor activities, customer behaviour etc ;

Ability to recognize, recruit, manage and motivate the sales team.

Set clear, measurable sales targets and KPIs for the team.

Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team, providing direction, training, and support to achieve targets;

KPIs -Assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote products, services, and the brand

Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, etc.)

Lead efforts to build, maintain, and evolve the company’s brand identity.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and communications.

Assess ROI on marketing campaigns and initiatives

Ensure campaigns stay within budget,

Budget, MIS and achieve desired output.
