JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager,the Contract Manager is responsible for effective and efficient management of resources and work processes. This will ensure that all the contractual obligations to the respective customer are achieved in a cost effective manner whilst the company prescribed procedures and standards are applied.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides day to day management of security staff within the Clients premises● Provides briefings to the security Staff.● Ensures compliance with Clients procedures for access and keys control.● Gives daily briefs to Client’s Security Manager on the state of security within the premises.● Carries out all responsibilities in an honest,ethical and professional manner. Provides a courteous and pleasant interaction with each Client's employee and visitor.● Provides Executive Protection services when required.● Inspects,evaluates risks and ensures adequate coverage for the Client's premises. This includescompliance with post orders,associated regulations and the Clients Security/Fire Prevention andProtection Manual.● Advise Management on Emergency Response and ensure subordinates respond appropriately.● Interfaces with clients Security management to discuss security/ fire services provided, identifiesproblem areas, provides recommendations for security solutions and takes corrective action.● Responds to all site emergencies and directs security activities.● Ensure schedules are developed to meet Clients requirements.● Assists in the selection, orientation, development and retention of staff.● Ensures security staff are trained to Clients requirements,Carries out inspection of each securitypost,checking for post housekeeping,post orders, post procedure manual and necessaryemergency call listings. Assures all fire and emergency equipment is inspected and maintains fireequipment inspections, maintenance and repair records.● Conducts required/dedicated site assessments to ensure Clients compliance and providesrecommendation on operations, policy and technology applications to plant management.● Monitors compliance with regulatory and fire prevention requirements and safety items assignedby Client● Immediate reporting of incidents to Clients Security Management.● Conducting detailed preliminary investigations and collection of evidence.● Develops/ maintains/ coordinates effective communications with outside emergency agencies.● Ensures the correct and consistent administration of the Client /Supplier Service Agreement.● Assures compliance with Client Security and Procedures and the supplier Standard OperatingProcedures and Policy manual.● Maintain data and records following Clients Record Retention guidelines and requirements.● Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
