Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing, and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa, and South Sudan. Our client, a leading construction company in Dubai, is actively seeking reliable and skilled construction workers to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Tasks 

    • Perform various construction tasks such as bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

    • Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures.

    • Operate construction equipment and machinery as required.

Site Preparation and Maintenance 

    • Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris.

    • Load and unload construction materials.

    • Perform routine maintenance and report any malfunctions or required repairs.

Quality Control 

    • Measure and inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications.

    • Identify and troubleshoot construction defects or deviations.

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed and inspection results.

Safety and Compliance 

    • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    • Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements 

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction or related field is preferred.

    • Proven experience as a construction worker or similar role.

    • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.

    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

    • Passport.

Working Conditions 

    • Exposure to construction environments with varying temperatures.

    • Standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials.

    • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

    • Occasional overtime or shift work may be necessary.
