Job Summary
As an excellent Construction Project Manager, you must be well-rounded—adept at contract management, proficient at undertaking measurements and valuations, able to coordinate a team of consultants, supervise works on site, have a good understanding of construction processes and procedures, and be skilled in report writing, amongst other skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Contract Management
- Undertaking measurements of works done and generating valuations
- Collaborate with the developer, engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, subcontractors, and specialists, among other stakeholders.
- Ensuring structural/ architectural/MEP drawings are all harmonized.
- Ensuring that contractor and client comply with all the statutory and regulatory requirements
- Generating work programs and monitoring the program of works and project milestones and engaging the contractor on ways of catching up in case of delays.
- Coming up with cash flow projections and monitoring cost and budget.
- Scheduling/ procurement of client-supplied items, making sure they are within the contractor’s program.
- Scheduling design and site meetings, taking and issuing minutes
- Ensuring communication management and systematic information documentation
- Coming up with daily, biweekly and monthly reports
- Ensuring that quality is monitored and enhanced throughout the project
- Ensuring the Environmental Health and Safety plan is adhered to.
- Preparation of final account and final close out report including lessons learnt, findings and remedial measures
- Facilitate rectification of works during DLP
- Prepare project quality assurance and quality control plan
- Supervising workmanship including masonry works, concrete works, plastering, water proofing, facade finishes etc.
- Ensuring strict adherence to BOQ and technical specifications
- Obtaining all relevant guarantees, warranties, certificates, manuals and codes etc.
- Obtaining and consolidating all as built drawings
- Coordinate all services subcontractors and specialists
Requirements and skills
- BSc. in Construction Project Management; Bachelor of Building Economics/Bachelor of Quantity Surveying will be added advantages.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor - minimum 7 years of experience
- Contract management – FIDIC and JBCC
- Good knowledge of MS Projects, AutoCAD, any other construction software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
