Role Description
The Computer Teacher will be responsible for delivering ICT lessons and supporting learners in developing strong digital literacy skills. The role involves planning and teaching computer lessons, guiding learners in practical computer use, and ensuring they understand key ICT concepts appropriate for their grade level.
Key competencies expected from the Computer Teacher include:
- ICT Curriculum Design and Implementation
- Computer Repair and Basic Maintenance
- Digital Literacy and E-Learning Integration
- IT Coordination and Systems Support
- Classroom Management and Student Mentorship
- Teamwork, Communication, and Leadership
The teacher will be expected to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment while maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues. The role may also involve supporting the integration of technology across different subjects and contributing to the school’s co-curricular activities.
Qualifications
- TSC Registered
- CBE Compliant
- At least 5 years of teaching experience
- Degree CBE - Upgrade Diploma; JSS- Degree are an added advantage
- Can handle multiple subjects and co- curricular activitie
