The officer will run the dental clinic and will be expected to do tooth extractions, filling, Scaling, Root Canal Treatments and participate in creating awareness on Oral Health in the Community when need arises.

Job Description/Requirements
- Managing oral health clinics by organizing and scheduling clinic days
- Managing patient flows and referrals in and out of the hospital
- Ordering dental materials and equipment and instruments for use at the hospital dental unit
- Participating in oral health demonstrations, exhibitions and giving lectures to community and schools
- Diagnosis and treatment of common dental conditions, temporary and permanent restorations, reducing simple fractures of jaws and tooth extractions
- Initiate, develop and implement appropriate policies and methods that would result in improved community oral health standards
- Order dental supplies and Monitor stock levels in dental unit
- Organize and ensure cleanliness of the dental unit
- Prepare monthly report and share to the medical officer in-charge
- Attend departmental meetings and share challenges and successes of the department
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Medical Officer In-charge
