About GAIN

GAIN, a Swiss-based foundation launched at the United Nations in 2002, is at the forefront of transforming food systems to improve nutrition for vulnerable populations. Our ambitious strategy aims to enhance access to nutritious foods for 1.5 billion people and drive positive change in 12 countries by 2027.


The Role

As CFO, you will be a key member of our Strategic Management Team, providing financial leadership to support GAIN’s mission. You will oversee strategic financial planning, corporate finance, budgeting, reporting, and risk management, ensuring compliance with global standards and donor requirements. This role can be based in London, Nairobi (Kenya), or New Delhi (India).


Key Responsibilities

  •  Provide strategic financial leadership and expert analysis.
  •  Manage corporate finance activities and ensure robust financial systems.
  •  Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance, manage risks, and maintain strong financial controls.


Your Profile

You are a seasoned finance professional with a recognised qualification (e.g., ACA, FCA, CPA) and extensive experience in strategic financial management within complex, global organisations. You possess strong leadership skills, deep regulatory knowledge, and expertise in donor and project funding, FOREX, and cash optimisation.
