CATERING SUPERVISOR

AIC Kapsowar Mission Hospital is a non-profit faith-based hospital that is the largest level 5 hospital in Central Elgeyo Marakwet County. The Hospital seeks to recruit a Catering Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

    a) Overall coordination of hospitality services.

    b) Formulating, Monitoring and reviewing Hospitality policies and procedures.

    c) Ensuring adherence by all staff to safety and environmental policies and statutory requirements.

    d) Development of human resources management through the department training needs assessment.

    e) Ensuring continuous Staff appraisals.

    f) Planning and budgeting; and

    g) Ensure staff discipline and commendation.

Qualification and Experience

    a) Degree/Diploma in either Hotel and catering Management/Hotel and

    b) Hospitality Management or Hospitality and Tourism Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

    c) At least 3 years experience in similar role preferably in healthcare set up

    d) Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.

    e) Must have a certificate in computer application Complied with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
