JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for strategically overseeing and coordinating the operations of all the warehouses of the company across the country. The Warehouse Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage resources effectively, and oversee the strategic direction of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. This role also involves collaborating with various departments toensure the optimization of processes, productivity, and quality standards.Following are the requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.-10 years proven experience in managing operational projects and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse environment.- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.- Proficient in Warehouse management software and database
RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles & Responsibilities :- Develop and implement warehouse operational strategies that align with company policies and optimize efficiency across all branches.- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas forimprovement and implement corrective actions.- Ensure adherence to warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements while standardizing performance metrics across all branches.- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and securitywithin all warehouse operations.- Strategically plan work schedules, assign tasks, and assess performance across allbranches to ensure operational effectiveness.- Oversee the production of regular operational reports and statistics,identifying trends and areas for improvement.- Collaborate with branch sales coordinators to develop promotionsand initiatives for liquidating slow-moving products.- Liaise with suppliers to manage damaged or expired items and optimizeprocurement processes.- Operational Coordination: Ensure daily operations align with quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
