Cabro Factory Supervisor

Kreative Concrete Products Limited is a leading concrete company; we specialize in delivering top-quality concrete solutions, offering a comprehensive range of products and services to meet all construction needs with precision, reliability, and unmatched expertise.

We are currently searching for a hands-on, experienced, and skilled Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cabro and Precast Concrete Production Factory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Production Planning:

• Scheduling production tasks as guided by the Head of Production
• Ensuring timely order completion to satisfy customer demands.
• Communicating challenges encountered on days when targets are not met to the Head of Production.

2. Production Operations:

• Coordinating daily operations on the factory floor and supervising production processes for optimal performance and safety.
• Leading and motivating the production team
• Conducting daily Toolbox Talks to communicate operational targets, updates, and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with the Head of Production and HR Department to resolve employee matters and conduct performance reviews.
• Assisting new employees in transitioning smoothly into their roles through proper orientation.

3. Material Requisition:

• Preparing Purchase Requests for tools, raw materials, and any other components needed for production
• Coordinating with the Head of Production and Procurement to maintain timely supplies replenishment.

4. Quality Control:

• Implementing and maintaining quality control processes, including regular inspections to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Addressing quality issues promptly to prevent defects and maintain product integrity.
• Proposing and implementing approved corrective and preventive actions to sustain high-quality levels of production
• Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to improve quality control procedures continuously.

5. Maintenance:

• Ensuring all daily pre-check and post-check inspections are conducted and documented by machine operators in the provided maintenance checklists
• Coordinating with the Maintenance Department to address equipment breakdowns promptly and minimize unexpected downtime.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Compiling and submitting accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on production performance, finished products, defects, and downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with all company documentation requirements.

7. Safety and Housekeeping:

• Enforcing compliance with health and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment among all employees
• Coordinating with Health and Safety Personnel to conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborating in Investigations for safety incidents and overseeing the implementation of recommended corrective and preventive actions.
• Fostering a clean and organized work environment adhering to company housekeeping and hygiene standards.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Monitoring and proposing opportunities for operational improvements to enhance workflow, reduce downtime, and improve cost-effectiveness and product differentiation.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in a Supervisory Role within a Cabro production factory

Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building Technology or equivalent.

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Knowledge specific to concrete products manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality assurance control
• Basic knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety policies
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and production specifications.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

• Accountability: Taking ownership for the production team's performance and outcomes.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work longer hours and different shifts to meet production demands.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
