Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies for a FMCG in the agribusiness sector
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships.
- Lead partnership negotiations and close on the same.
2. Marketing & Brand Building
- Design and implement marketing campaigns.
- Strengthen brand positioning across digital, print, and experiential platforms.
- Oversee customer engagement initiatives.
3. Product Development & Customer Demand
- Collaborate with product development managers to identify customer needs and market gaps.
- Provide feedback from clients and markets to guide product innovation.
- Ensure new products/services align with customer
expectations and industry trends.
4. Quality Control & Improvements
- Work with operations and quality teams to maintain high standards across agribusiness.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish feedback loops to measure
service/product quality.
5. Strategic Leadership
- Build and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Align business development strategies with overall corporate goals.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor
analysis to guide decision-making.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and key partners
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Proven track record in business development within a manufacturing set up
- Strong negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, and data analytics.
