JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking to recruit for the position of Business Development Assistant. The Business Development Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the business development team. This position is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and an interest in helping to drive growth and new opportunities for the company. The Business Development Assistant will assist in market research, lead generation, sales support, and overall project coordination to help the team reach business development goals.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).Prior experience in business development, sales, marketing and supplier relations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with CRM software is an added advantage.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Market Research:Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets.Help maintain and update the CRM system with new leads and contact information.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.Administrative Support:Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client communications.Organize and maintain client information and business development records.Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements for the business development team.Sales Support:Help with creating and managing sales pipelines and forecasts.Support in drafting contracts, agreements, and follow-up communications with clients.Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.Relationship Management:Help build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.Project Coordination:Collaborate with team members to manage various projects and timelines.Track project progress and assist in preparing progress reports for stakeholders.
