This announcement is for a request for proposals by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP) on behalf of the Breakthrough ACTION project to conduct quantitative interviews with (i) patients seeking care for fever in children under 5 years of age, (ii) young adults aged 18-24 seeking SRH services, and (iii) pregnant women seeking antenatal care across 31 health facilities (19 intervention and 12 non-intervention facilities) in Emuhaya, Hamisi, HomaBay Town, Luanda, Rachuonyo South, Rangwe, and Vihiga sub-counties. The survey instrument is designed to collect data about patients’ satisfaction with health services received at the health facility, as well as to elicit their thoughts on areas for improvement of service delivery. The survey instrument will include background characteristics for all respondents as well as separate subsections for each of the aforementioned patient groups. These questions will ask about services sought, services received client-provider interactions, and overall satisfaction.

Eligible bidders must be a registered non-government owned enterprise with a valid Federalwide Assurance (FWA) for the Protection of Human Subjects number1 . Bidders should submit a technical and financial proposal in English, using the template and the full Request for Proposals to be downloaded from the following link: https://tinyurl.com/KenyaSatisfactionInterviews. The period to ask questions will close at 5:00PM Kenya time on September 13, 2024. Bidders may email their questions to ccpkeinfo@jh.edu. Proposals are due by September 23, 2024 at 11:59pm Kenya time by email to: ccpke-info@jh.edu. Please write “Breakthrough ACTION Kenya Client Satisfaction Interviews-RFP-FY24” as the subject in the email submission. 


Awarding of all or a portion of this scope of work is contingent on available funds. The contract will be a fixed-fee contract.
