BRAND STRATEGIST & PR LEAD
Job summary
The Brand Strategist & PR Lead will be responsible for shaping and protecting the company’s brand identity and public image. The role involves developing brand positioning, defining messaging frameworks, and leading integrated communication strategies that strengthen brand equity and market presence.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and refine brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks
- Conduct comprehensive brand audits to assess consistency and market relevance
- Carry out market research, including SWOT analysis and competitor benchmarking
- Translate insights into actionable brand strategies that drive growth and visibility
- Design and implement effective PR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and official communications
- Manage media relations and ensure positive brand coverage across channels
- Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment with brand messaging
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all touchpoints including digital, print, and advertising
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines for internal and external stakeholders
- Review all brand content to ensure alignment with tone, voice, and visual identity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and influencers
- Act as the key liaison for external communications and press engagements
- Manage stakeholder communications to enhance trust and engagement
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies when required
- Respond to negative publicity and reputational risks in a timely and strategic manner
- Monitor brand sentiment and proactively address communication risks
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop brand campaigns
- Support the creation of brand assets, storytelling content, and experiential campaigns
- Contribute to planning and execution of brand events and activations
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and audience insights
- Monitor competitor positioning and communication strategies
- Use data-driven insights to refine brand strategy and messaging
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in branding, marketing, public relations, or corporate communications
- Strong portfolio of successful brand or PR campaigns (added advantage)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams
- Strong understanding of media relations and PR practices
- Competence in social media platforms, analytics tools, and CMS platforms
