The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented B2B Account Manager to lead client relationship management and operational excellence within our HomeConnect Division. In this role, you will be the primary liaison for a portfolio of key clients, including real estate agents, brokers, developers, and investors, guiding them to leverage our services and achieve their business objectives. Your responsibilities will include building and nurturing long-term partnerships, driving sales growth, including growing our developer inventory, and optimizing client engagement processes across inbound and outbound communication channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of Kenya’s real estate market, and a proven track record in sales, customer service, and operations management.

Key Responsibilities
● Client Relationship Management:
○ Build and nurture strong relationships with business clients to ensure their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
○ Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and professional support.
○ Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
○ Conduct regular business reviews to assess client performance and gather actionable feedback.
● Operational Oversight:
○ Lead and manage the client engagement function to ensure seamless and high-quality communication with clients.
○ Oversee team performance, ensuring adherence to company protocols and exceptional customer experience.
○ Monitor metrics such as response times, lead qualification ratios, and client satisfaction scores to maintain operational excellence.
○ Collaborate with technical teams to address system enhancements, resolve issues, and optimize engagement tools.
● Sales and Strategy Development:
○ Drive the implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
○ Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
○ Align engagement operations with business objectives to support the overall growth strategy.
● Team Development and Training:
○ Recruit, train, and mentor client engagement agents to ensure consistent performance and professional growth.
○ Develop training materials and programs to enhance the team's product knowledge and client handling skills.
● Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
○ Prepare detailed performance reports covering key metrics such as engagement efficiency, revenue generation, and client satisfaction.
○ Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management to drive continuous improvement.

KPIs to Measure Success
● Revenue Growth: Increased revenue from existing and new clients through value of new contracts, upselling and cross-selling and renewals
● Client Retention: High retention rates driven by client satisfaction, and successful contract renewal
● Lead Conversion Efficiency: Maximized conversion rates from engagement initiatives.
● Client Engagement Performance: Metrics such as response time, first-contact resolution, and average handling time.Track the number of face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, or phone calls held with clients. Regular interactions can help build trust and understanding.
● Customer Satisfaction Scores: Positive feedback and testimonials from clients.
● Team Productivity: Optimal performance and utilization of client engagement age
● Average Deal Size: Monitor the average value of deals closed by the B2B Account Manager. An increase in average deal size may indicate their ability to upsell or negotiate larger contracts.
● Number of New Accounts /Inventory Acquired: Measure the number of new B2B clients that the Account Manager brings on board.
● Sales Pipeline and Conversion Rate: Monitor the number of potential deals in the pipeline and how many of them successfully convert into closed deals.
● Competitor Analysis: Continuously evaluate how the company's products/services and customer support compared to competitors in the real estate industry
Pertinent Skills
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related Real Estate field. Similar role experience may be considered
● Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-term relationships with clients.
● Deep understanding of the real estate industry, market dynamics, and trends.
● Results-driven and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate and exceed client expectations.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and make data-driven decisions.
● Proficient in CRM software and sales tools to track and manage client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.
● Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
