Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
- Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Perform and supervise substantive audit procedures, including:
- Revenue testing
- Trade receivables and ECL assessments
- Treasury (cash and bank) procedures
- Prepare and review audit working papers to a high professional standard
- Liaise directly with group auditors and respond to audit queries
- Manage client relationships and coordinate audit deliverables
- Support in KRA audit matters and tax-related engagements
Technical Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of:
- IFRS 9 (Expected Credit Loss models)
- IFRS 15
- IFRS financial statement preparation and disclosures
- Experience in audit of trade receivables, revenue, and treasury cycles
- Exposure to group reporting and consolidation instructions
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with audit documentation standards
