Assistant Interior Designer

Job Summary:
Eton Interiors limited is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will assist in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for residential, commercial, and retail projects. You will collaborate with senior designers, clients, and contractors to bring concepts to life while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Assist in creating interior design concepts, layouts, and mood boards.

●       Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets.

●       Source materials, furnishings, and decor, ensuring quality and alignment with design themes.

●       Prepare 2D and 3D renderings using design software.

●       Support in space planning, material selection, and color scheme coordination.

●       Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure project specifications are met.

●       Maintain and organize project documentation and client files.

●       Order processing with Italy and local suppliers for kitchens , bathrooms , wardrobes and all Joinery work as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

●       Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field.

●       2-3 years of experience in interior design or a similar role.

●       Proficiency in design software.

●       Strong understanding of space planning, materials, and furnishings.

●       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●       Strong organizational and time management skills.

●       Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
