JOB TITLE: ALCOHOL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME
INDUSTRY: ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
SALARY: KSHS. 45,000-50,000
JOB LOCATION: KIAMBU


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
  • Actively identify, prospect, and onboard new clients within the assigned territory 
  • Promote and sell the company’s alcohol product portfolio to retailers, distributors, bars, and restaurants 
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs 
  • Execute sales strategies to grow market share and increase product visibility 

Territory Management
  • Manage and develop the assigned sales territory effectively 
  • Plan and execute regular field visits to clients and prospects 
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy 
  • Ensure optimal product distribution and availability across all outlets 

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers 
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client concerns promptly 
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and placement opportunities 

Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and territory performance 
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in alcohol or FMCG sales 
  • Proven track record in field sales and territory management 
  • Valid driver’s license (mandatory) 
  • Strong knowledge of Kiambu and surrounding markets is highly preferred 
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently 
  • High level of integrity and professionalism 
  • Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
