Job Summary

Our client is seeking an accounts assistant who will manage all aspects of accounting operations and conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts while ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as KRA.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Manage accounting operations, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, and general ledger entries.

Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, PAYE, Withholding Tax, NSSF, NHIF, AHL, and NITA regulations.

Assist with employee performance appraisals and evaluations (daily, monthly, and yearly).

Post receivables and maintain accurate financial records.

File financial documents in an organized manner.

Follow up on outstanding debts and manage collection processes.
