RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure payroll checks are accurately calculated, distributed, and deposited;Communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates to verify attendance, hours worked, transfers, pay rise, payroll discrepancies, and benefit plans;Process all staff related payments for the respective group of employees including allowances, per diems, advances, and any other staff related payments;Prepare, review, and analyze payroll data and reports for the respective group of employees;Explain to employees how pay is calculated, or translate numbers on payroll statements such as retirement withholdings, vacation pay, and health insurance deductions;Calculate all deductions and reimbursements for the respective group of employees and coordinate timely and accurate submission of all statutory returns;Provide administrative support and implement the payroll policies and procedures;Administer payroll using an accounting software program in order to stay up-to-date with each employee's remuneration data.
