Job Description/Requirements
1. Financial Record-Keeping:
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all financial entries.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding fees and payments.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
• Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
4. Budget Support:
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Support the Finance Manager in monitoring budgets and financial forecasts.
5. Administrative Support:
• Maintain an organized filing system for financial records and documents.
• Support the preparation of financial audits by providing necessary documentation.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and college financial policies.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns such as VAT and payroll taxes.
7. Other Duties:
• Provide general support to the finance team as required.
• Participate in financial projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
