Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will support the finance department by handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with property-related financial transactions.

Job Description/Requirements

Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping: 
1.)Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple properties.
2.)Process invoices, payments, and receipts related to property management.
3.)Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts for discrepancies.
4.)Assist with rent collection, service charges, and other property-related transactions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
5.)Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments.
6.)Monitor and follow up on outstanding tenant payments.
7.)Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and statements.

Reporting & Compliance:
8.)Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.
9.)Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
10.)Support with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.

General Support:
11.)Maintain organized financial records and assist with data entry.
12.)Handle queries from tenants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
13.)Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in property management or real estate.
- CPA part II
-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or industry-specific software).
-Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of property management accounting and service charge reconciliations.
-Experience working with landlords, tenants, and property management teams.
-Familiarity with VAT, tax filings, and financial regulations.
