Job Description/Requirements
AutoXpress is Kenya’s leading supplier of tyres, wheels, batteries, suspension parts, and vehicle services with an existing countrywide network of 57 branches. As we expand our network, we are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who assists the team in achieving their mandate.
1. BASIC FUNCTION
This position is primarily responsible for managing the Branch Accounting function in the finance department and provide support to various functions within the finance department as may be required.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
a) Posting of receipts from customers
b) Querying and resolving any discrepancies in daily sales report with branches
c) Carry out reconciliations of the incoming receipt collection accounts
d) Posting of petty cash entries, ensuring data is captured with accuracy and supporting expenditure documents comply with company policy
e) Perform cash holding verifications periodically
f) Assist in fixed asset verification and resolving any discrepancies
g) Assist in preparing outgoing payments
h) Assist in budget preparation
i) Assist in document management and archiving both physical and soft documents/records
j) Assist in any other duties as may be specified from time to time falling within the scope of the finance team as a whole

6. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
a) Degree in Business or a related field
b) ACCA / CPA or an equivalent qualification
c) Minimum of 1-year relevant experience
d) Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
e) Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA will be an added advantage
f) Strong reconciliation and controls review skills will be an added advantage
