JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to set-up, lead and manage the accounting and financial operations of multiple companies within our group of companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and managing teams, with a proven ability to handle the complexities of multi-entity financial management. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting:● Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.● Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.●Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for each entity.●Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Team Leadership:●Build, Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support in their professional development.● Allocate resources effectively across entities to ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time.● Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Compliance & Risk Management:● Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations for each entity.● Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.● Manage tax compliance, including coordinating the preparation of tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.Process Improvement & Systems Management:● Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.● Oversee the integration and maintenance of accounting systems and software across entities.●Ensure consistent accounting practices and policies are applied across all companies.Budgeting & Forecasting:● Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and manage budgets for each entity.● Provide financial forecasting and variance analysis to support business decision-making.● Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and strategic objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration:● Work closely with other departments to support organizational goals.● Assist with financial planning and analysis for strategic projects and initiatives.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.● Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entity environment.● Proven experience in leading and managing accounting teams.● Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial regulations.● Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.● High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.If you are a motivated and experienced for this role and are looking to join a dynamic team, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to mybutchery.hr@gmail.com We thank all applicants for their interest: however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
