JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking anexperienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to set-up, lead and managethe accounting and financial operations of multiple companies within our groupof companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financialreporting, and managing teams, with a proven ability to handle the complexitiesof multi-entity financial management. This role requires excellent analyticalskills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to leadand mentor a team of accounting professionals
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting:● Oversee the preparation andconsolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.● Ensure timely and accuratemonth-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.●Prepare and analyze financialreports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flowstatements for each entity.●Coordinate with external auditorsfor annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.] Team Leadership:●Build, Manage and mentor a team ofaccountants, providing guidance and support in their professional development.● Allocate resources effectivelyacross entities to ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and ontime.● Foster a collaborative andhigh-performance team culture.Compliance & Risk Management:● Ensure compliance with local,state, and federal financial regulations for each entity.● Implement and monitor internalcontrols to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.● Manage tax compliance, includingcoordinating the preparation of tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.Process Improvement & Systems Management:● Identify and implement processimprovements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accountingoperations.● Oversee the integration andmaintenance of accounting systems and software across entities.●Ensure consistent accountingpractices and policies are applied across all companies. Budgeting & Forecasting:● Collaborate with the leadershipteam to develop and manage budgets for each entity.● Provide financial forecasting andvariance analysis to support business decision-making.● Monitor and report on financialperformance against budget and strategic objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration:● Work closely with otherdepartments to support organizational goals.● Assist with financial planning andanalysis for strategic projects and initiatives.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.● Minimum of 5-7 years ofprogressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entityenvironment.● Proven experience in leading andmanaging accounting teams.● Strong knowledge of accountingprinciples (GAAP, IFRS) and financial regulations.● Proficiency in accounting softwareand advanced Excel skills.● Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and organizational skills.● Strong communication andinterpersonal skills.● High ethical standards and acommitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.If you are a motivated and experienced forthis role and are looking to join a dynamic team, please submit yourapplication, including your resume and cover letter, to mybutchery.hr@gmail.comWe thank all applicants for their interest: however, only those selected for aninterview will be contacted.
