Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Process payroll for employees and ensure timely disbursement.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and update accounting files and records.
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Handle day-to-day office management tasks, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Draft and review correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
• Maintain office filing systems and ensure proper organization of documents.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries as necessary.
• Manage office calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to financial and employee records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or administrative roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with office management, and administrative processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations is preferred.
