Accountant (Mombasa)

Position Overview: As an Accountant at Aryuv Agencies’ Mombasa office, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with Kenyan tax regulations. Your role will support the company’s financial operations and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.

● Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with Kenyan tax laws and regulations.

● Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information and conducting regular audits.

● Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning.

● Maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial records, including documentation for audits.

● Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and improve overall efficiency.

● Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA(K) certification preferred.

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on payables, receivables, and a great understanding of the tax ecosystem in Kenya.

● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

● Strong understanding of Kenyan tax regulations and accounting standards.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

● High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
