Job Summary
We are a Micro Insurance Brokerage firm seeking to recruit an Accountant who can effectively handle accounting and admin functions. S/he will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the firm; ensuring financial structures and controls are in place.

Job Description/Requirements
- Spearhead budgeting and planning initiatives in co-operation with other departments to ensure proper planning for the firm is done.
- Ensure that proper management reports are created every month for analysis
- Debt collection
- Collection and posting of all expenses and revenues
- Proper record keeping of all financial information
- Reconciliations of stock, bank and all other relevant accounts
- Presentation of reconciled financials on a monthly basis
- Staff Welfare and performance monitoring
- Staffing and On boarding
- Payroll and wages management
- Handling of customer feedback and complaints
- Client communication
Role Requirements:
- The person interested in this position must possess a professional qualification in accounting (CPA, ACCA) and B.com will be an added advantage.
- Additionally, they must have great inter-personal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills, must be an innovative problem solver and handle conflicts well.
- They need to be self-driven and to have at least 1 year of solid experience in a similar role.
- Moreover, he or she must have practical working knowledge.
