Data Manager

We are a young, dynamic, fast growing ICT and web development Company, whose work focuses on, though is not exclusive to, the Kenyan Property sector. We provide data services, marketing, publishing, web design, web Application development and other ICT services to our clientele.

 

We will shortly be embarking on phase 2 of a project for one of our major clients, requiring an experienced and competent data manager to lead 5 Staff.The successful incumbent will be required to oversee the data collection process and enter data from several web based sources.

 

The data manager will support the report writer and project director responding to request for data and where required redeploying the team. Experience in management, data entry and attention to detail skills are essential for effective performance in this role.

 

This position will be offered on a permanent basis.

 

Role Description:

• The Data Manager has overall responsibility for coordinating the collection of all property information from several sources including office based duties and field via mobile apps.
• There is a data entry element to this role to meet tight deadlines.
• Make sure team provides accurate, timely and relevant information which must be verified and corrected at source.
• Planning data collection routes and monitoring staff performance is critical to the role.
• Will be expected to work closely with software developers and upload reports to the desktop application.
• May be required to undertake web research duties in order to better populate the property information database.

 

Requirements:

• Business or ICT related Bachelor's degree
• More than 3 years’ experience of managing teams
• Understands clients information needs
• Able to coordinate the work of the field data collectors
• Monitor the overall quality and consistency of the data
• Support and liaise with report writer and project director

 

Salary: To be negotiated.
