Salary Scale:

Kshs 89,748.00 to Kshs 120,270.00

House Allowance:

Kshs 45,000.00

Commuter Allowance:

Kshs 14,000.00

Job Description

The Deputy Director, Traffic Management reports to the Director Traffic Management on the following:

1. General Administration and operation of the Department.
2. Deputy Command of the traffic management unit.
3. Policy implementation and general administration.
4. Implement systems to decongest traffic movement within the County.
5. Management and coordination of public transport system within the county.
6. Ensure efficient Traffic Management within the county in liaison with other National Agencies.
7. Implement budget for the unit.

Job Qualifications

For appointment to this position, a candidate must:-

1. University degree in a related field and experience of at least 7 years in a related position with reference to public transport.
2. Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
3. Traffic Management Course.
4. Senior Management and Strategic Leadership Course.
5. Station Commanders’ Course.
6. Served in the rank of Assistant Director of Police or its equivalent.
