Job Description/Requirements
The Sales Representative also personally contacts and secures new business account/customers.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Promote/sells/secure orders from existing and prospective customer through a relationship based approach.
- Demonstrate our services to existing /potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Detailed duties and responsibilities.
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective client.
- Make telephone calls and in person visits and do presentation to prospective and current customers where applicable.
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develop clear and effective written proposal/quotation for current and prospective customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customers’ problems and complaints.
- Coordinate sales effort with operations, accounting and customer care department.
- Analyzes the market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
- Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile and value opportunities.
- Identifies advantages and compare the organizations services with our competitor in market.
- Plan and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment in the market.
- Supplies management with oral and written report on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities and potential for our services. Report to be handed in on a weekly basis.
- Plan and make a schedule for sales strategy. This should be done on monthly basis and the report submitted to the management after every visit.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifying and maximising revenue from existing customer accounts.
- Maintaining high levels of product and customer knowledge and participating in training programmes as appropriate.
- Submitting detailed proposals and quotations to customers.
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations.
- Identifying, contacting and qualifying leads.
- Aligning selling prices with company guidelines.

- Can easily settle in to any role & take over the management of an existing client base.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Degree/diploma in sales and marketing or any other related field
- Over 3 years of experience in the same field.
