About the Multimedia Storyteller:
Prime Directive
Craft a compelling Andela narrative using multimedia, and disseminate content through social media, with the aim to publicize Andela’s social mission, further the recruitment effort, provide updates to investors, partners, and inspire all, especially Andelans.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Document Andela’s history
- Photograph and video all events that paint a fuller picture of life and progress at Andela; be it Google Hangouts with international guests, PD sessions, guest visits, soccer tournaments, induction ceremonies, move-ins, construction etc.
- Inform the public
- Conduct interviews with Fellows and staff to provide insight into life and work at Andela.
- Regularly create content that tells the story of Andela using curated footage (edited photos, videos and audio) for newsletters, Ad distribution and marketing purposes (investor updates, LinkedIn, blog, social media, YouTube).
- Craft social media
- Assist in driving traffic to blog and social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Support updates to the blog, and social media outlets.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly social media reports, outlining key accomplishments.
- Provide media for team
- Provide custom directed material for team groups upon request, when needed to support other business objectives.
- Write articles as needed for newsletter and for blog.
- Keep team and team DropBox updated with relevant media.
