Credit Recovery Manager

Kenya Institute of Management Human Capital Advisory Services is recruiting a Credit Recovery Manager on behalf of its client.

Organization: A SACCO

Reporting to: Deputy CEO – Operations & Finance

Administrative Duties

1. Ensures safe keeping of all members records
2. Ensures confidentiality of all members records
3. Ensures members records are up to date always
4. Prepare all loan portfolio reports

General Duties

1. In charge of loans and shares processing and deductions
2. Recommends loan approval with the credit committee
3. Prepares loan disbursement for approval by chief accountant or deputy ceo, operations and finance
4. Approves loan recovery schedules
5. Approves accrued interest

Financial Duties

1. Implements loan recovery process
2. Appraises and certifies all loans applications and forwards the same to the credit committee
3. Verify the eligibility of loan guarantors and advise accordingly
4. Verify and certify supporting documents for all loan applications and advise accordingly
5. Monthly, quarterly and annual preparation of loan portfolio and P & L statements
6. Ensure timely disbursement to various customer accounts

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field or Diploma in Cooperative Management/ Credit Management
• Have accounting professional qualifications
• Knowledge in the use of accounting packages would be an added advantageAt least three years’ experience in a similar position in a Sacco or a financial institution
